It started not with code, but with people, processes, and cinema halls. In 2006, our founder walked into SPI Cinemas as a Junior HR Executive. Over the next 11 years, he moved through every layer of that organisation — payroll, talent, compensation, and eventually into applications and technology management.
That pivot — from HR to technology, inside one of India’s largest cinema chains — is what makes Yasda Systems genuinely different. We understand cinema operations not as an outsider looking in, but as someone who lived inside them for over a decade. We know what happens when a system goes down on a Friday night with 500 people in the lobby.
After SPI, the career expanded into product development at Tartuga Automation, R&D leadership at Broadline Technologies, and IT leadership at FreshBrain Innovations — each role adding a new dimension: hardware, industrial automation, computer vision, cloud infrastructure.
In 2022, after 16 years of building, breaking, and rebuilding technology across industries, Sublime Ventures was founded — and has now evolved into Yasda Systems: a systems-first technology firm built on the principle that architecture always comes first.
